Baroque Carved Wood Acanthus Mirror

Grand in scale and richly detailed, this rectangular mirror features a substantial wood frame carved with continuous scrolling acanthus leaves. Deep recesses and an antiqued bronze-gold finish accentuate the dimensional carving, while twisted-rope and stepped inner moldings provide a tailored counterpoint to the exuberant outer border.

Beautiful displayed vertically as a dressing or entry mirror, the piece may also be hung horizontally above a console, mantel, or substantial chest.
